How to detach the drum?(PEDC-30)
Please watch the vedio, and follow the step-by-step illustrated instructions below.
Step1: Loosen the three screws on the outer housing, then remove the housing and the drum that stores the cable.
Step2: Unscrew the six screws on the back cover. Be careful, as the cable will spring out. Hold the back cover down with your hand and slowly release it.
Step3: Unscrew the screw that fixes the flexible cable to the back cover to remove the entire cable.
Step4: Smooth out the flexible cable, remove any twists or kinks.
Step5: Pull the straightened flexible cable out from the housing.
Step6: Reattach the end of the flexible cable to the back cover of the drum.
Step7: Reattach the six screws to fix the back cover, then reinstall the drum back into the machine.
Step8: Tighten the three screws to reattach the outer housing.
Step9: Ensure the auto-feed unit is in the gear “N”. Thread the entire flexible cable through the guide hose, and fix the hose.
Step10: Power on the machine and automatically retract the entire flexible cable.
